Question: How would you react, and what would you do, if this happened on next Monday’s Raw?
Two hypothetical situations.

It’s the 900th episode! You’re really psyched about it! And you’re hoping, that somewhere deep inside you, they’ll actually reveal who the new GM is!

Situation 1.) Let’s say we’re told that they’re going to reveal who the GM is, but as Raw keeps going on during the night, they don’t do it. At the very end of the show, finally, Michael Cole gets in the ring and tells us he’s about to reveal who the GM is. He says “the new GM is…” and then the screen immediately fades out, has the Raw logo on it, and the show ends?

Situation 2.) The same situation, but instead, after Cole says “the new GM is…” we get the silly chime and light thing again, Cole goes out of the ring, says “May i have your attention please, i just received an e-mail from the anonymous GM. And i quote, the anonymous Raw GM has ordered me, as well as the rest of the WWE staff not to reveal who the GM is, and if anyone does, they will be terminated from the company.” Same ending: the screen immediately fades out, the Raw logo shows up, and the show ends.

hahah i know it’s a ridiculous question, but how would you react, and what would you do?

Question: Any truth to this? The Chrysler Closings?
Read this….long but illuminating…

I know that most of you have seen or heard parts of this auto deal!! But you won’t believe what you read that you didn’t know. And it just keeps going.

Chrysler’s Railroad
This could be a scandal of epic proportions and one that makes Nixon’s Watergate or Clinton ‘s Monica Lewinsky affair pale by comparison.
Why was there neither rhyme nor reason as to which dealerships of the Chrysler Corporation were to be closed? Roll the clock back to the weeks just before Chrysler declared bankruptcy. Chrysler, like GM, was in dire financial straits and federal government graciously offered to “buy the company” and keep them out of bankruptcy and “save jobs.” Chrysler was, in the words of Obama and his administration, “too big to fail,” same story with GM..

The feds organized their “Automotive Task Force” to fix Chrysler and GM. Obama, in an act that is 100% unconstitutional, appointed a guy named Steve Rattner to be the White House’s official Car Czar- literally, that’s what his title is. Rattner is the liaison between Obama, Chrysler, and GM.

Initially, the national media reported that Chrysler had made this list of dealerships. That is not true. The Washington Examiner, Newsmax, Fox New and a host of other news agencies discovered that the list of dealerships was put together by the “Automotive Task Force” headed by no one other than Mr. Steve Rattner. Now the plot thickens.

Remember earlier we said earlier that there was neither rhyme nor reason why certain dealerships were closed? Actually there’s a very interesting pattern as to who was closed down. Again, on May 27, 2009, The Washington Examiner and Newsmax exposed the connection.

Amazingly, of the 789 dealerships closed by the federal government 788 had donated money, exclusively, to Republican political causes, while contributing nothing to Democratic political causes. The only “Democratic” dealership on the list was found to have donated $ 7,700 to Hillary’s campaign, and a bit over $ 2,000 to John Edwards. This same dealership, reportedly, also gave $ 200 to Obama’s campaign. Does that seem a little odd to you?

Steve Rattner, the guy who put the list together. Well, he happens to be married to a woman named Maureen White, who happens to be the former national finance chairman of the Democratic National Committee. As such, she would have access to campaign donation records from everyone in the nation, Republican or Democrat. But of course, this is just a wacky coincidence, we’re certain.

Then comes another really wacky coincidence. On that list of dealerships being closed down, a weird thing happen in Arkansas , North Louisiana, and Southern Missouri .

It seems that Bill Clinton’s former White House Chief of Staff, Mack McClarty, owns a chain of dealership in that region, partnered with a fellow by the name of Robert Johnson. Johnson happens to be founder of Black Entertainment Television and was a huge Obama supporter and financier. These guys own a half dozen Chrysler stores under the company title of RLJ-McClarty-Landers.

Interestingly, none of their dealerships were ordered closed – not one- while all of their competing Chrysler/Dodge and Jeep dealership were! Eight dealerships located near the dealerships owned by McClarty and Johnson were ordered shut down. Thus, by pure luck, these two major Obama supporters now have virtual monopoly on Chrysler sales in their zone. Isn’t that amazing? Go look in The Washington Examiner, the story’s there, and it’s in a dozen or so other web-based news organization, this isn’t being made up.

Now if you thought Chrysler was owned by Fiat, you are mistaken. Under the federal court ruling, 65% of Chrysler is now owned by the federal government and the United Auto Workers union- Fiat owns 20%. The other 15% is till privately owned and presumably will be traded on the stock market. Obama smiles and says he doesn’t want to run the auto industry.

As horrifying as this is to comprehend, and being as how this used to be the United States of America, it would appear that the president has the power to destroy private businesses and eliminate upwards of 100,000 jobs, just because they don’t agree with his political agenda. This is Nazi Germany stuff, and it’s happening right here, right now, in your back yard.

There are voices in Washington demanding an explanation, but the “Automotive Task Force” has released no information to the public or any of the senators demanding answers for what has been done. Keep your ear to the ground for more on this story. If you’ve ever wanted to make a difference about anything in your life, get on the phone to your national senator or representative in the House and demand an investigation on this.

Benjamin Franklin had it right when he said, “All that’s necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.”

Car Czar No More

An amazing thing happed as this story was going to press. Obama’s Car Czar,

Readers be careful – this is a misleading use of statistics. The writer points out that the dealerships who were closed gave heavily to the Republican Party. So did the dealerships staying open. Most dealership owners are Republicans.

What a surprise.

Question: Was this a rude thing to do?
I was stood up the other day, by someone who I had been talking to on the internet. We planned to meet up at a flashy hotel nearby and grab a bite to eat. My date didn’t show up. I was so unbelieably embarrassed and the staff were watching me. I was just about to leave and a huge crowd of people burst in laughing and joking. A waiter came over and offered them some wine and then turned to me and said “wine miss?”. I said “oh thank you. How much do I owe you?” and replied “compliments of the company”. I necked the wine assuming it was compliments of the house. Then he said “what department are you in?”. To my horror, I realized it was compliments of a COMPANY and they were having a company party and the people were the colleagues. I just churped up “Oh I work on the complaints department!”. As you can imagine, I was extremely surprised when he said “in that case you are on table 6″. I was about to leave when I became strangely curious, I walked in to the dining room and to my suprise there were no name tags on any of the tables. I don’t know what posessed me, but I just instinctively sat down. At that moment, the dining room filled with people and everyone was looking at me as if to say “who the hell are you?!”. In fact one person actually did say “I haven’t seen you around here before!”. My heart was racing and I quickly retorted “oh you wouldn’t have. We’re in training at the moment, we start properly on Monday!”. The people completely bought it and carried on chatting with me about unrelated topics. In fact, I had a wonderful time. I met some wonderful people, I had free wine and a free three course meal and I danced the night away with people I probably will never see again.

Also, when I went to get a drink from the bar later on that even, I said to the bar tender “phew! I was starting to think I was in the wrong place earlier on! You must have thought i’d been stood up or something!”. It was a wonderful night!!

Was this rude?

Question: TEENS: Did you know this about Planned Parenthood?
Planned Parenthood’s abortion quotas exposed
Ex-director: We’d have client goal every month
Posted: November 04, 2009
10:05 pm Eastern

A former director of a Texas Planned Parenthood branch who resigned after she watched an ultrasound-guided abortion told that the clinic was pushing employees to strive for abortion quotas to boost profits.

“There are definitely client goals,” former clinic director Abby Johnson said. “We’d have a goal every month for abortion clients and for family planning clients.”

Johnson, 29, said the Bryan, Texas, Planned Parenthood clinic performed surgical abortions every other Saturday, but it began expanding access to abortion to increase earnings.

“One of the ways they were able to up the number of patients that they saw was they started doing the RU-486 chemical abortions all throughout the week,” she said.

RU-486 chemical abortions kill the lining of the uterus, cutting off oxygen and nutrients, resulting in the death of an unborn baby. Johnson said the chemical abortion costs the same as an early first-trimester abortion: between $ 505 and $ 695 for each procedure.

She told that the clinic was experiencing financial difficulties due to the economic downturn.

“Abortion is the most lucrative part of Planned Parenthood’s operations,” she said. “Even though they’re two separate corporations, all of the money goes into one pot. With the family planning corporation really suffering, they depend on the abortion corporation to balance their budget, help get them out of the hole and help make income for the company.”

She continued, “They really wanted to increase the number of abortions so that they could increase their income.”

Now Planned Parenthood has retaliated against Johnson, filing a restraining order against her because the clinic fears she may leak confidential information.

The Brazos Valley Coalition for Life, a pro-life group that recently moved its headquarters several hundred feet away from the clinic, is named on the temporary restraining order as well. The injunction temporarily prevents her from releasing information until after a hearing scheduled for Nov. 10 in the 85th District Court.

Planned Parenthood claimed in court documents that Johnson copied private personnel files and other documents before she quit her position Oct. 6. The abortion provider’s lawyers expressed concern that Johnson would disclose client medical records, doctor information and clinic security procedures. The restraining order contends Planned Parenthood would be irreparably harmed by an information leak.

However, Johnson said, “I don’t have any confidential documents, so I’m not sharing anything because I don’t have anything. I have no patient information. I’d never do anything to compromise patient safety or confidentiality. For them to even make that type of statement is so offensive.”

Planned Parenthood of Southeast Houston released the following statement Oct. 30: “We regret being forced to turn to the courts to protect the safety and confidentiality of our clients and staff, however, in this instance, it is absolutely necessary.”

Coalition for Life photo illustrates how close pro-life group’s building is to Planned Parenthood clinic. Johnson said she’s not sure why Planned Parenthood is so concerned.

“Planned Parenthood is an organization that really runs on fear. If somebody crosses them, they are quick to threaten that person. I’ve worked for them for a long time and seen them threaten lawsuits multiple times,” she said. “I’m not sure what they’re scared of. When I first got the restraining order, I was so surprised. My initial response was, what do they think I know? What are they feeling guilty about?”

Asked whether she believes Planned Parenthood is concerned that information about its quotas will become public, Johnson responded, “Probably, yeah. I think they’re just scared of the whole thing.”

She said she believes the injunction is simply a scare tactic meant to keep her quiet.

“Clearly, that kind of backfired,” she said.

Johnson explained that she resigned after she saw an ultrasound-guided abortion in which an unborn baby was vacuumed out of a woman’s uterus.

“Ultrasound-guided abortions are not typically done in Planned Parenthood abortion centers because they’re more time-consuming, and that’s just not something that centers like that do,” she said. “I’d never seen one of those done before. For whatever reason, the physician had called me back to assist with the procedure. When I saw that, that was really when my heart was changed.”

Johnson, who was employed at the clinic for eight years and served as a director for two years, said the issue of abortion was “unsettling” for her the whole time she worked with Planned Parenthood. She said she kept “pushing down the guilt” and felt spiritual

Question: Once again Donald Fehr doesn’t care about fixing the steroid problem? I suppose this is the Yankees Fault?->?
Read this latest nonsense that Fehr said concerning the Steroid controversy.

Donald Fehr says union won’t reveal names of 103 players who failed drug test in 2003

By TOM D’ANGELO

Palm Beach Post Staff Writer

Monday, February 23, 2009

JUPITER — Donald Fehr, the head of the major league baseball players association, said Monday the union will do everything possible to ensure the names of the remaining 103 players who tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs in 2003 are not revealed.

“By contract all other information except the group results are supposed to remain confidential and we hope and expect that it will remain so,” Fehr said. “We’ll do whatever we reasonably can to make sure of that.”

ehr started his tour of all 30 major league camps Monday by meeting with the Marlins. This year’s discussion included the recent leaking of Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez’s name to Sports Illustrated as one of the 104 players who tested positive in 2003.

Rodriguez later admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs from 2001-03, while he was with the Texas Rangers.

Fehr remains bothered that tests of which the individual results were sealed under court orders were leaked.

“It is troublesome to me that you see reports which suggest that the anonymous source of the report was doing so in violation of a court order and that that was known to the reporter that wrote it,” Fehr said. “That’s a real problem to me. I thought we were all supposed to honor court orders.”

The 2003 drug tests, part of the first drug-testing agreement between MLB and its players, called for a survey test which both sides agreed to keep confidential. If more than 5 percent of the players tested positive, baseball would install a more stringent program.

Between 5 and 6 percent – 104 players – tested positive.

Part of the agreement was that the results of the tests would be destroyed once they were finalized and tabulated. The process of destroying the tests and urine samples had begun when the government issued a subpoena for the tests as part of its investigation into steroid distribution by BALCO, the Bay Area-based supplement company.

“Once that happens you can’t do it,” Fehr said.

The union informed its players that the results could not have been destroyed so quickly without suspicion that the union was hiding something.

Now, many believe everybody who played in 2003 is under suspicion.

“If that’s the judgment, it seems to me that is entirely wrong,” Fehr said. “Slightly over 94 percent were negative. People ought to make mention of that.”

A small number of players, including the Marlins’ Wes Helms, Philadelphia’s Brad Lidge, former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling, have called for the remaining 103 names to be revealed.

Fehr said no players have expressed that desire to him.

“The contract provided the information would remain confidential and that’s an obligation that is owed both by the union and by major league baseball to all individual players,” Fehr said.

Baseball commissioner Bud Selig has said he is considering possible discipline against Rodriguez. Fehr said he does not believe discipline is warranted and he has “no reason to think” that there will be any.

“Everybody understands that there were things which happened in the early part of the decade, which we wish hadn’t,” Fehr said. “That’s not the case anymore. We fixed the problem and we need to look forward, as Bud as said many times.”

Other issues Fehr addressed with reporters Monday:

- On a Sports Illustrated report that Gene Orza, MLB’s chief operating officer, said Rodriguez was tipped off to a drug test in September 2004: “It’s an old allegation. There is no evidence for it as far as I can tell. Nobody has ever told us who or when or why or what. And yet it just gets repeated and people don’t seem to feel they have an obligation even to do basic research. That’s troublesome.”

- On the number of unsigned high-profile free agents and the possibility of collusion among owners: “We hope that there isn’t. We hope that the people that have yet to sign will sign. There have been a number of them in recent days. If we conclude that there has been any violation of the contract going on we’ll take action to remedy it. I don’t want to comment on that unless and until we reach that conclusion.”
If you where paying attention yankees2009ny which obviously you weren’t i was beign sarcastic when i asked is this the Yankees fault since so many people want to blame them for everything that is wrong in Baseball. Next time read the whole thing before u start insulting. & whether you like ti or not the steroid issue is a problem that’s not going away & you pretending it’s not happening isn’t going to make it go away.

Question: Does anyone on here #1 like David Letterman and #2 find this newsworthy?
David Letterman Confession: I Had Sex With Staffers
Got Targeted by Extortionist
Tells Fans of Scandal During Thursday Night Show

By MICHAEL S. JAMES

Oct. 1, 2009 —

David Letterman told the audience of his late night talk show that he had sexual relationships with female members of his staff, and added he forked over a bogus $ 2 million check as part of an extortion plot on the matter.

Letterman, 62, made the confessions to the audience during a taping of “The Late Show” for broadcast Thursday night, according to a statement by Worldwide Pants Inc., Letterman’s production company.

“This morning, I did something I’ve never done in my life,” Letterman told his audience, according to the statement. “I had to go downtown and testify before a grand jury.”

During that testimony, Letterman acknowledged unspecified sexual relationships with staff members, the Worldwide Pants statement said.

“My response to that [allegation of sexual relationships] is, ‘Yes I have.’ Would it be embarrassing if it were made public? Perhaps it would,” Letterman said. “I feel like I need to protect these people. I need to certainly protect my family.”

Earlier this year, Letterman announced on his show his marriage to his longtime girlfriend, Regina Lasko, who he began dating in the 1980s. The pair have a son, Harry Joseph Letterman, whose impending arrival Letterman announced on his show in 2003.

It’s unclear from the Worldwide Pants statement when Letterman’s sexual relations with his female staffers occurred.

But according to the statement, Letterman received a package three weeks ago containing a threat to reveal those indiscretions “if Letterman did not pay the individual a large sum of money” — specified in a later communication as $ 2 million.

“Letterman said that he referred the matter to the Special Prosecution Bureau of the Manhattan District Attorney’s office,” the Worldwide Pants statement said, “which Letterman said conducted an investigation, which included his issuing a ‘phony’ $ 2 million check to the individual, and culminated in the individual’s arrest earlier today.”

This is not the first extortion plot alleged to have targeted Letterman. In 2005, Kelly Frank, who worked as a handyman on Letterman’s Rocky Mountain ranch in Montana, was arrested for allegedly plotting to kidnap Letterman’s then-16-month-old son, Harry. Frank pleaded not guilty but got 10 years in jail for overcharging Letterman.

At the time, the comedian took it all in stride.

“I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of seeing my house on television while I’m in my house watching television,” Letterman said on a March 2005 show.

Letterman Pointed Out Infidelities of Others

Letterman was a longtime bachelor after his first marriage ended in divorce in 1977.

He has had at least one relationship with a co-worker in the past. Merrill Markoe, a comedian and author who was his longtime writer, was his girlfriend in the 1980s.

Even so, Letterman has joked about others’ infidelities. Numerous jokes and at least two of Letterman’s famous “top ten” lists highlighted South Carolina Gov. Rick Sanford’s extramarital affair. Letterman included the “Top Ten Surprising Facts About Mark Sanford” and the “Top Ten Gov. Mark Sanford Excuses” during the days after the governor admitted to having an affair this June.

Letterman has been a fixture on late night network television since 1982 after a short stint with a morning show on NBC. As host of “Late Night” on NBC and then “The Late Show” on CBS, he is second only to Johnny Carson as the longest-running late night host.

ABC News’ Eileen Murphy and Emily Friedman contributed to this report.

Question: When working as a temporary employee what are the guidelines? Is this illegal?
My friend working as a temporary employee for a company. She doesn’t know how long she will be there. So there is an opening in the same company in a different department. She doesn’t think she is beyond the guidelines if she applies for it on her own.

I told her to go for it. However the agency will NOT be happy if they found out. She said they its not like she is trying to apply for the job she is temping for behind their backs. I told her its the “Company” they have an account with so they still wouldn’t be happy about it.

But Staffing agencies don’t care about the employees they are more concerned about the employers thats how they make thier money. If the agency can’t make money then they are NOT happy bottom line.

Who’s right?
its an indefinite position possibly permanent. but she doesn’t want the job so she could be there for months. before shes done.
